Over seventeen years international commercial and business development experience within the oil industry, with a strong background in relationship building, bid preparation, negotiations, and economics evaluation of various fiscal regimes.
Employed by BG Group, Deutsche Bank energy consultancy, and more recently with BP for over seven years.
Recent assignments covered South Asia, Middle East, North Africa and North Sea, these include:
- Delivering engagement and communication strategy to access deepwater acreage in Bangladesh. Leading all commercial preparation and external communications with the ministry and NOC.
- Delivering a number of bids (deepwater conventional gas & Coal Bed Methane) to access resources in India. Negotiated number of contracts (PSC, Farm-in, Joint bidding) with the host government and NOC.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers across governments, national oil companies, independent investors and NGOs. Key focal point for Iran (NIOC).
- Leading preparation of commercial / contractual proposal for bid submission for field study in Iraq.
- Focal point in delivering bid in the Libyan EPSA IV license round. Leading commercial due diligence and contractual clarification meeting with NOC.
- Negotiation of all required agreements for transportation of 3rd party gas via operating asset (Amethyst field) in the North Sea.
- Managing all commercial activities and transactions involved in operating gas assets in the Southern North Sea.
